I discovered Moksha Yoga in 2010, and fell in love immediately. After a few years of practicing off and on, I committed to a regular practice four years ago and never looked back. Yoga has taught me to not sweat the small things, not take myself too seriously, and to breathe. It has taught me to still my mind and focus on my breath and the movement of the practice. It has taught me to try new things and not to be afraid of failing. My mat time is a time when I can step away from all the thoughts constantly swirling through my mind and centre myself, get back in touch with my mind and body. With a regular practice I notice that all other areas of my life improve. My mind is more clear, my body feels better, I’m significantly less anxious and I’m all around happier.
